7. Rehearse & Refine

Say it and keep saying it, until you know it.

   

Note: Ignore the debate about scripting and memorization. What works for you is more important than theories. It only matters not how you know your bits, only that you do.

  

Suggestion: Find your better way. Experiment. Keep what works. Discard what does not. With all sound off, rehearse as you drive... alone is best. Become your speaking self.

  

Finally: Unless you have distributed copies of your material to the audience, ignore your "mistakes." They don't know what you planned to say. If you lose your way, STOP! Look around, then say deliver an "out line" like, "This is the meditation part of the program." You'll get it back.
