A separation of essentials
Task: Expand the bit to full form, five to ten minutes. Disclaimer: This is my approach, adapt it as your like. Note: I develop these individually, then connect them.
Opening: Usually a minute or two to set the stage, letting the audience to decide whether it's worth hearing.
Middle: This is a two stage process. First, I separate the middle into key points, then create a hundred words or so for each. Next, I connect them into the whole middle.
Closing: Two minutes seems about right here, with the final line, the sign off being a memorable/quoteable sentence.
Finally: Connect these three into a core bit of four to six minutes. This is your message, but it may be a bit bland. |
