All good times may come to an end. With luck they lead to the better.
Is there anyone on the planet – or beyond – who has not heard, "Are we there yet?" Probably not. Destination anticipation may be a common quality of all conscious life forms. Since I am presently in the first year of Stage 7: Enthusiast I can only wonder about the next transition and stage. Still, this is no time to demur.
I see these next dozen years or so as being a creative, productive period of engaged quietude. It begins each morning when I awake – "Another day to create." – when I start the coffee and prepare for the day. From that beginning I hope to move into the day, writing in my journal, then doing what's on the list, when I have one.
http://bit.ly/2eEtXDdQuestions: "Is there a segue near the end of Enthusiast? If so, what?" Beats me which prompts me to label this speculation as Say What?
My guess is there will come a day when I move from creative activity to a more passive state, a place where reading, even watching TV may become primary. Whatever is to come I hope I can maintain that life view so neatly encapsulated by the late Bill McGrane's tidy phrase, TUA:
"Total Unconditional Acceptance"
