Honoring Your Audience

Assumption: Every person in an audience is an audience. Each has many motivations (desires to participate in life) and a range of interests in how they will live life for the better. It takes courage to live life as who we really are – not the bravery needed in mortal combat, but a personal resolve to live life as it comes – in the moment... wherever we are... no matter what.

The Speaker's Role is to creat audience experiences where important insights – perceptions including knowledge, opinions, beliefs – can be considered, assessed and adjusted as each person chooses.

The Explaining Effect is the advancement of audience understanding – insight, "Aha!", wisdom – yielding an enduring change for the better. My VISA Models are how I construct explanations.
